The fight for $15 an hour minimum wage is about to heat up in Baltimore this week! Click here to see the story in the Baltimore Sun. Now, more than ever please sign and share the petition to make sure the City Council and the Mayor know how much we care about making sure this passes.
I'm Ian Schlakman and I want to make sure that anyone who works full time in Baltimore City has enough money to get by. That's why I am fighting for a $15 per hour minimum wage tied to inflation right here in Baltimore.
Well before I decided to run for office I've been out front on the fight for a $15 minimum wage. I've rallied for it in DC, Annapolis and Baltimore.
Most recently I've given expert testimony in the Maryland Senate regarding the economic benefits that a city like Baltimore will gain if we do the right thing and make the minimum wage $15 for all employees.
Take a look at the expert testimony I've given below and sign on with my campaign to make Baltimore the next city to have a $15 an hour minimum wage.
Thank you! - Ian Schlakman, Baltimore City Council Candidate District 12
